Neither system is cool.

Why should a PvE part of the game be regulated by what happens in PvP?

The new plan is a step in the right direction, more like a stumble. Anet will change it to something else from all the biznitchin going on, but then only three times in 15 sec or is it only from your own spirits, but not on tuesday.

ANET DONT CHANGE IT BACK THOUGH!!!

HA has lost its population more and more as guild wars has aged. When prophecies was young, there were 4-5 districts during the day. I can hardly ever find ranked groups even in HA anymore. Even if only a small majority of people quit HA, its more down the drain.

In mind? Increased passage drops, limits to how often a country can have favor or make it more difficult the longer it has it. There's a ton more possiblities they could have done, not all of them would work, maybe not even those 2, but IMO this was not the best course of action. We can't just say this is the only decent way it would.

You can't judge too much just yet. Remember what you said: We'll have to wait and see.

It's a proven fact that, even if its very small, some people are going to quit playing in HA because of this update.

Meh.

/not signed

Favour was broken the way it was. This may not be perfect, but should at least be given a chance. I've been playing for about four hours tonight farming tokens with my various characters and the amount of time remaining that the world has favour has been climbing steadily (currently at 123 minutes).

I've also been mapping a lot this week, and have noticed there's still plenty of people rolling characters. So plenty of potential title hunting to come.

Time will tell, just give it some before we all start moaning.

I would love to see the data on this. Please provide a link so that the rest of us can read it. Thanks!

simply due to the fact they are finally starting to seperate P vs P and P vs E. One should not effect the other. This system also needs a chance to see how it is going to work. So far the majority of folks seem to actually agree with what has been done and I'm also in agreement of the change.

Or at least Americas day time.

And not signed, this is foolish. The new honor system is awesome, it gets the whole world fighting together to get favor. And americans can go to FoW/UW now, instead of having to quit everything and get there in the five minutes that we have it.

And to the op, wow, now you know how we felt. Farm something else, that's what we had to do.

It's not a proven fact, but he is right. At least 1, at most 3 people will quit playing HA because of this.

I'm at work right now so I have no idea if there is currently favor...but all I know is it freaked me the hell out when i got on about 5pm Pacific and all the shrines in explorable areas where up. and stayed up until i logged off some 2 hours later.

I like it so far but I will reserve final judgment until a few days pass.

So you're saying that you don't think, even if its just 1 or 2 people that quit (even though we know that GW has over like 2 million players, its going to be a lot more than that, not just 3), that no one at all is going to quit because of this? Please rethink what you just asked.

Also, everytime anet nerfs something, we know people quit because they have a hissyfit, its happened on every nerf, and I'd bet people are quitting over this one like the ritspike and SP nerfs.

I think he knows, he's just confused why anyone would be upset over this, and - like many more here - probably hasn't heard of anyone who plays it for favor.

I don't think most of those people quit. Most of those people just complain. There I fixed it for you.

I know a lot of people that have quit because of nerfs, and friends have told me they know of people as well.

I think it's certaily a step in the right direction. Tying it to titles just seems a bit off, they don't really reflect what a majority of players are doing in any given hour. I had the idea that it would make more sense to tie it to something like the amount of teams that achieve Masters in missions for their "sides" in a given hour.

It's not the best way perhaps, but it's better than titles. They are finite and I've already achieved all the titles I care to. But people are always doing the missions...

Missions are even more finite than titles no?

So sorry, when you used this phrase:

I took that to mean that you had proper documentation to support this "fact". Apparently I was mistaken as it seems you were just inventing statistics as you went along. Either that, or you are unaware that words have a literal meaning. Regardless, I shall refrain, in the future, from assuming credibility in any statement that you make. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

No, but please tell me, is it or is it not true? There's no reason to be like you are about it, people use words differently, and I'm sorry if you coulden't correctly coprehend what my statement was trying to depict. By "fact" I meant, go try to disprove it.
